September 26th is Johnny Appleseed Day! This day is dedicated to celebrating the life and legend of everybody’s favorite random Jeopardy answer, Johnny Appleseed! He was born on September 26th, 1774 as John Chapman. You may remember learning about this guy in elementary school, but can’t quite remember why you learned about him. As he traveled west, Chapman planted apple trees along the way, and gained the nickname Johnny Appleseed. Yup, all he did was plant apple trees. Sounds like a gosh darn American hero to me!
